These two generators ( I'm guessing here) are sitting downtown Aberdeen NC on the ACWR Wye. It's odd that CSX would bring this type of load up the S line when it is a dead end North of Raleigh, no reason for it to travel North unless Progress Energy is replacing something at the nuclear plant South of Raleigh. Or it could be a re-route, got mixed in with something for ACWR. Not sure though. I don;t think the trestle in Pinehurst could handle this tonnage either... besides, there isn't anything on ACWR that requires this equipment. But, stranger things have happened. |
