NP station and depot buildings
The former NP depot at Staples is still used by Amtrak. Is that some BN green lingering on the upstairs window frames?
I believe that low building in front of the grain elevator is the former NP depot in Rosalia. The Spokane, Spangle & Palouse, an Omaha Track subsidiary, is operating this line now.
The nicely preserved former NP depot in Ritzville is now a museum.

The northwest and northeast walls of the magnificent Union Depot at Duluth, MN on 24 Jun. '16. Built by the SP&D, NP, DSS&A, D&IR, WC, and D&W. Designed in the French Norman style by Peabody & Sterns, it was completed in 1892 at a cost of $615,000. Passenger service ended in '69. It was purchased from the BN ca. '70. Since '73 it has been home to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, the St. Louis Co. Historic Society, and several arts organizations. Regular passenger service, in the form of Amtrak, returned from '74 or '77 until 7 Apr. '85. Passenger service again returned in '90 when the North Shore Scenic Railroad began offering excursions.

Amazingly the entire Skally line is intact in WBL itself, ending up in Hugo to the north and Maplewood to the south. Rest of the route in the eastern TC metro is without rails and now largely trails. Here, though, it is easy to imagine the glory days when not only NP but Milwaukee and C&NW trains graced these rails going to and from the Twin Ports.
Now in the midst of eastern Twin City suburbia, the former Northern Pacific/Burlington Northern station in White Bear Lake is still extant as a museum today. Trains even still pass by in the form of locals run by the Minnesota Commercial railway which leases the former NP "Skally" line in the foreground from the BNSF.
Passing the restored ex-NP depot. Date is approximate.
The NP had some nice depots.
It's a DARK day in EGF MN; this is the NP station in town, a simple 2-story brick affair. The NP had a yard and roundhouse nearby as well.
