Golden Age
Coach #105 “Golden Age” was built by Harlan and Hollingsworth (Bethlehem Steel) in 1927 for the Central Railroad of New Jersey.
Theres an airfield nearby.
... And here is her husband, Barton Jennings. This guy is an important railroad figure and historian. Has several books for sale.

On the way back, apparently the rain and wind was so strong that 62 actually hit a tree. Two of them.
We aren't allowed to block the crossing for very long.
It seriously was an experience you cant replicate.
With 104 off and the locomotives coupled, were ready to begin boarding.

I was walking to my assigned car to prep it for the day.
Its now night, and the last run for the day has concluded. To celebrate, while cleaning I blasted Just What I Needed by The Cars over the speakers.
My first Christmas train... I absolutely loved these. For whatever reason, 44 and 68 were switched out.
An interior shot I suppose, our train was being rearranged so general maintenence could be performed on one of the cars in the shop.

The Purdy excursion had this little northeastern type caboose on the rear, which you could ride for a higher fare. Seating was rather limited, however.
A&M 58 leads the Santa train over US 71B en route to Johnson. The A&M sign was whacked by a truck the week prior to the trip, hence the partial sign.
The 1500 trip rolls south past the Tyson feed mill.
The 1500 train leaves Johnson switch, the turn around point, en route back to Springdale.
A&M #58 has just ran around its 2 car passenger consist in Winslow, Arkansas on 01/22/14 in the snow.
A&M C420 #56 leads the winter editon of the Van Buren (this time Fort Smith) to Winslow, AR passenger train run in January of 2012.
I assume the building next to the cars is used as the passenger car shop
An excursion run north of Springdale
