NS Southbound Freight Train 339 ( Birmingham, Al. to Meridian, Ms. ) passing through 64th Street in Woodlawn, Al. 339 runs as M- NSSH ( Norfolk Southern in Meridian, Ms. to Shreveport, La. ) via KCS
I had plenty of time to get back, this was the day after I caught M- SHNS at Smith, Ms. 339 runs late afternoon out of Birmingham, Al. It only takes 3 or 4 hours to drive from Jackson, I slept in my own bed & could've slept til 3:00 pm & still caught 339, actually the weather sucked & cleared out fairly well for me to catch 339, I didn't get out til after 12:00 pm that day, didn't think I'd even be shooting 339 that day cause of the clouds, but as you see it worked out

How fast did you have to drive back to Birmingham to get this?

Thanks Jeffery & Terry, You're right Jeffery, seems to be a common site for FXE to show up in Birmingham on either UP or KCS interchanged trains to NS, I have even seen some FXE interchanged to CSXT from UP
