DF-Prints. Here is a print by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Passenger Station in Duncannon, Pennsylvania, c. 1955. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9510 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9510 is an EF-15 built by GM-EMD in April of 1948 and retired in November of 1962 after just 14 years of revenue service. In this context, this A-B-A set is pulling a mixed-cargo freight train out of Enola to Altoona. Note that the Engineman is inspecting the train as it rounds this curve. Brad Mann Collection.
