Burham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) built this 4-6-0 in September of 1900 originally as a CM&StP Vauclain compound ten wheeler #352 (serial #18202, class B4). It was renumbered several times starting in May of 1907 to #1702 > in September of 1912 to #4302 > in March of 1921, it was simplified and renumbered to #2852 > finally in June of 1928 it was renumbered one more time to MILW #1075. The loco served for nearly 40 years before being put in a line for the scrapper's torch in May of 1940. Rail fan Edwin Wilson took the photo which is now part of my rr collection.
