A friend of mine worked for Penn Central and then Amtrak and in April 1976 he was able to get us access to Potomac Yard and this photo is taken from the yard tower there.
A shiny, black PC GP30 in the ex-Readings yard at Reading in May 1976. It was fun in the early days of Conrail to find the occasional oddly placed unit.
