BNSF 5846 leads a loaded coal train through Rosenberg, TX, as seen from the restored Tower 17 at the Rosenberg Railroad Museum. The tower was decommissioned and moved to the museum in 2004.

CN through freight crosses the frozen Wolf River via the former SOO bridge as it heads southeast at Gills Landing, WI on 24 Feb. '15. The bridge was built as a swing bridge in 1894. A significant mechanical failure left the pivot inoperable from 2003 until the fall of 2011, when it was converted into a vertical lift bridge. According to bridgehunter.com, it “is likely the only vertical-lift bridge in the world with a center lift tower”.
