Norfolk Southern C44-9W 9175 was on the BNSF-Wabtec interchange at Justin, Texas on its way to Wabtec’s Fort Worth plant, where it will be modified into an AC44C6M. It had been built in March 1998 as a C40-9W with serial number 50428, and the NS subsequently raised the horsepower from 4,000 to 4400.
