Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1773, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as an H-8SB during April of 1912, rebuilt as an H-9S in August of 1945, and retired in April of 1956 after 44 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. ("Ampolex"; #1 of 1)
Believe this is a H9s class Consolidation built between 1912-14. Taken on the "leap day" of 1948.
