A little too late, the floodgates began to open up just a little bit. Once the freight cleared, a coal train was lined in behind it to head west on the Burlington. So, I backtracked to Cameron for it to catch it flying underneath the Transcon. By that point, the westbound Z train was beginning to inch closer as well. One day, I hope to see an over/under meet here. But, Im sure I will never see that day.

I missed getting a shot of this northbound empty TXUX train in Siloam, but was able to catch him in Gentry, as he rolled up short of the Main St crossing. Hell meet a southbound AEPX train here. The late afternoon sun is giving us quite a glint here.

I came to Northtown on St. Patrick's Day 2015 in search of Norfolk Southern's Lehigh Valley heritage unit, which was reported as being on a Northtown bound train. Either it was hidden away near the diesel shop or had already departed by the time I took this still impressive pic. Note the unit smoking things up in the left foreground.
