Caught this SB UP cement/rock train headed south on the BNSF Galveston Sub at Rosenberg.

The train is descending Cajon Pass on the Palmdale cutoff.

Built November 2000 as UP 7555. 5588 built August 2004.

30th Street at 1448.

K610 rolls across the High Line at 1448.

MPECL heads to Clinton. Second motor is the same UP I saw on a BNSF M T feed train on X-mas day.

UP 5588 leads another UP unit and a KCS unit on this empty west bound coal train headed towards North Platte, NE.

UP-5588 West is seen easing into the curve at the bottom of the grade at King Hill, Idaho with a mixed manifest containing several loaded log cars. The log cars, once prevelant on all the northwest railroads had disappeared for many years. It's nice to see them back again.
