Here's an unexpected sight. Two Metra bi-levels bracketed by flat cars and pulled by a pair of big EMD motors. They're on the old Rock Island connector.
Last EB train through the CP before the new signals were set in place.
And the train everyone is waiting for finally arrives, so the loaded east bound coal train can start moving.
Passing the site of the old combined passenger depot and freight house, UP 5225 leads Q13219 north toward Front Street.
KG1LT-04 UP 7699 west heads through Blair.
