The Chemung River was almost over its banks at Wellsburg-and there was a big ice dam just beyond the bridge Im standing on-as 261 rolls west. NY 427 runs along the ice covered cliff just above the rrain. Good chase road coming in from Chemung, but you gotta hustle!!
