Soo bandit on its way to NRE Silvis
CP train 474
Who knows how much longer these will be around so may as well shoot 'em!
Two Milw Bandits pair up to power the Camden Job as it rolls down the line. I can't get enough of these units.
Four road units and two ex-Milwaukee switchers were the prizes I bagged on a visit to Humbolt Yard this day. The fact that "bandit" units still can be found in 2011 is one reason why I like the Canadian Pacific better than the Canadian National!
Seen from the 27th Street bridge.

SOO 1547 still in Milwaukee Road colors, the "rotten pumpkin"
I shot this same unit only six days ago on the House Job at Shoreham, and I see it again at Saint Paul. Those white specs are snow, it was snowing on and off in the morning.
With rumor being that the CP is repainting these, this was really nice to see. That orange paint is holding very well after all these years.
A scene close to its end. Per a CP employee, the bandits are all due for paint before the end of 2008, which will end the long standing era (23 years) of former Milwaukee units stuck in the timewarp.
Switch engines sitting outside St. Paul Yard.
SOO 1547 seen hiding behind the engine house at Pigs Eye.
Three MILW "bandits" are among these units outside Bensenville shops in the late afternoon.
