The difference between the F59PH and the F59PHI
A Saturday Orange Cmunty Line train from Oceanside is pushed under the the old Santa Fe signal bridge at Pioneer Boulevard. I don't know how long the signal bridge will last, but it's a nicd memory of old time rairoading while it's still here. F59PHI #887 was the very last example of this model that Metrolink bought. It arrived in November of 2001 and was a}tually asembled by Alstom. Metrolink's new MP36s should start arriving soon, taking away #887's new kid on the block status.
