This 4-6-2 Pacific type steam locomotive was built by Alco-Schenectady in March of 1921 originally as CNW #1633 (serial #62699, class E). It had several upgrades along the way (added stoker, Waschaert vale gear, bp increased) and in 1951-51, it was renumbered to CNW 633. The loco lasted on the roster as long as 10/1/1952 before eventually disappearing later, presumedly scrapped. According to the date on this photo, it lasted at least to 1954. No photographer was listed for this photo which is now part of my rr collection.
