Believe this is the L-CHI663 local out of Galesburg, arriving in Burlington to do some work.
A side shot of the classic late 90s duo. A local crew would grab this power later in the evening to use, but I was long gone by that point.
So, with that, it was back into Burlington proper to get the shot I had planned on all day; a downtown scene amongst all the brick buildings. Things were quiet which allowed me to quick check out the BNSF power. Three different paint schemes were sitting in the yard, one of which was a very worn Warbonnet Dash 9.

BNSF's former Santa Fe C44-9W 685 was resplendent in its SUPERFLEET paint scheme as it, and the BNSF C44-9W 5460, were waiting for a grain train to be unloaded along the Canadian National at Reserve, Louisiana.

BNSF!685 - Since these Warbonnets are becoming harder to catch, I chased it down just before Foley, Mo. The quality is kind of rough but I figured this is the last shot I was ever going to get of a Warbonnet.
BNSF 685 - When the voice on the scanner said BNSF 685....my friend and I almost fell over. The yinal train of the night was a warbonnet and on the lead! I thought these!all ended up in storage about a month ago? Thankfully BNSF missed one.
