Second unit on an empty westbound 3-bay covered hopper grain unit train
Sitting tied down and waiting on a crew on the Alton and southern main.
Well the clouds got me on this one. BNSF 5995 leads a empty coal back toward the mines.
One of two DPUs on an empty westbound 123 car open hopper coal train
BNSF 5995 at the front of a three-way northbound coal drag hurtling under the 39th Street over-pass in a desperation 24mm set of grab shots (yes, motion blur due to proximity and only 1/250s shutter speed - but as its a Canon (and not my illustrious Sony belly flop) I was able to get two or more images of each unit to choose from during this brief interlude - and not counting the partial unit shots - not saying my Sony camera sucks, but... wait, I am saying that.)
BNSF 5995 in the middle of the road preparation triplet - and sorry to crop so loosely, but, look closely - thajs *sun* glinting off everything! Sun!
BNSF 5995 in the middle of the front trio (and level horizon is all in the eye of the beholder... keep drinking until it looks better...)
BNSF 5995 leads this empty CAEG coal train north on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. just north of the Gibb Siding. This was the third empty coal train through the area in roughly 20 minutes. This is near Mp. 46 on the BNSF Hannibal Sub., just south of Old Monroe, Mo.
Empty SLC coal train is seen rolling up the Hannibal Sub.
