AMTK 501, 231, 237, and 502
AMT 514 and 502 lead a demonstration of the Talgo train at Santa Clara (Tower), CA on October 2, 1994. Note the SB CalTrain (loco 909) learking just beyond the tower.
My notes say this is the first run of Amtrak-California #2001 which makes sense given the backup engine #502 behind it SB at Emoryville during track and platform construction, Sept. 26, 1994.
