Heading for Big Stone Gap

In what must be a good advertisement for GE, three Erie-built "toasters," including an old C39-8, are what is needed to get the three EMD 70-series engines moving again. This was probably the heaviest train ever handled on this spur, and the three EMD units just couldn't pull the train forward as the crew made a switching move.
The crew of 118 is waiting for the time to come off the switch so they can proceed down the Buck Steam Station lead to assist PL06.
A pair of C39-8's handles NS 174's train at MP-80 on there way to Elkhart.
