This train, a reliable opportunity to catch standard cab EMD power leading intermodal on a fairly predictable schedule (into Milwaukee around 7-8 AM), would be abolished by the end of that summer thanks to E.H.H.

Trailing is CSX C40-8W No. 7759, Canadian Pacific SD60 No. 6240, Canadian Pacific AC4400CW No. 8606, and unpatched SOO Line SD60 No. 6035! With such an incredibly varied set of power up front, it was difficult to tell which railroad the train belonged too!
