BNSF Railway (BNSF) 4345 - GE C44-9W

BNSF 4284, BNSF 6914 and BNSF 4345 are on B-115 in Union, NJ 1/26/2025. BNSF 6914 and BNSF 4345 were on another B-115 on New Years Day facing the same direction only the 6914 was the lead unit and BNSF 4345 was the second unit. I remember the BNSF 6914 because some sort of liquid ran down the inverter covers bleaching the orange paint yellow.

After sitting at Cougar for sometime, this manifest headed west, only to A St., then proceeded to back up into the yard.

This was one of those days when ATCS wasn't working and my scanner was back in AK so your best bet was to go old-school and plop down and just wait for a train. For a couple hours it looked like I chose poorly as southbounds tended to be the trend, and by the time this lone northbounder came into view, the sun was playing peek-a-boo with the clouds. Fortunately the sun broke free at the right time and I was saved a skunking!

A pair of big 6 axle units join a pair of 4 axle units. A SD75M and a Dash 9 are hooked up to a string of gondolas while GP28M #1502 and GP39E #2933 are sitting behind Fhem

The pair is sitting at the It. Cloud Yard, the last time I can here, all that was there was a pair of former BN SD40 - 2s

A nice power set is in the yard today, a former ATSF Warbonnet SD75M and a Heritage II Dash 9$is hooked to a string of gondolas

The Ex-ATSF Signal Bridges aren't long for this world over the crossovers at Wellsville. In less than a month or so this control point will be 100% Safetran hood equipped. Yay...
