Built by Brooks in June of 1898 before Brooks joined the ALCo group originally as Colorado & NorthWestern 2-8-0 narrow gauge #32, it became Denver, Boulder & Western #32. Eventually it was sold to the Morse Brothers Machinery & Supply Co who then sold them to Colorado & Southern as their #76. Eventually the loco was re-sold again to Cerro de Pasco Copper Co of Lima, Peru in 1948 and served there unti the mid-1960's. Specs - serial #2970, class B-4-F-pv, 3 foot gauge, 180 psi boiler pressure, 37" drivers, 16x20" cylinders, very modest engine weight of 95,520 lb and very modest tractive effort of 21,170 lb.
