Baldwin, 10/1923, nee-CMStP 2-8-2 #8393 (serial #57249, L-sb class) > renumbered in June of 1938 to MILW 493. The loco served for 31 years before being scrapped in July of 1954. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,770 lb and tractive force of 54,723 lb. This is an R. Donald Ross photo in my collection. |

Baldwin, 10/1923, nee-CMStP 2-8-2 #8393 (serial #57249, L-sb class) > renumbered in June of 1938 to MILW 493. The loco served for 31 years before being scrapped in July of 1954.
