Indianapolis Union (IU) 5 - BLW 0-8-0

Nice roster shot of Indianapolis Union 0-8-0 #5. The beefy yard loco was built by Baldwin in October of 1930 (serial #61531). No specs were given in the Baldwin records amassed by Albert Weber III nor the retirement date either. This photo comes from the Howard W. Ameling collection and is now part of my collection.

Just recently I found this beefy 0-8-0 yard switcher listed in the Baldwin records summariezed by Albert Weber III. It was built by Baldwin in October of 1930 as Indianapolis Union 0-8-0 #5 (serial #61531). Unfortunately no specs were listed on the records. An unidentified rail fan took this photo.
