Union Pacific AC6044CW 6924 was parked next to Wabtec’s Fort Worth plant, waiting to be upgraded into an AC4400CWM. It had been built in 2000 as AC6000CW 7537 and was renumbered in April 2009 when it was repowered with a 4400-horsepower prime mover.

UP 6924 a C44AC that was built as UP 7523 a 6,000 horsepower unit is on UP’s RBMMTQ-09 (Rock Loads Beckmann, TX-Mont Belvieu, TX) with 130 loads ) empties, 18,232 tons, and 5,494 feet as it heads east at Hatchery on UP’s Houston Sub. in Houston, TX, as a eastbound BNSF manifest waits at Fauna Siding. You can also see the rock train’s DPU units at the rear too.
K047-10 charges eastbound through Woodbourne as the rain finally lets up with UP AC44CW 6170, UP SD70ACe 8472 and UP AC4460CW 6924 leading empty Crude Oil tanks back west.
