Union Pacific C40-8 #9025 was built June 1989 as Chicago & Northwestern #8503

A few minutes later the DME leads its lengthy train slowly by.
With them today they had a pick up of 5 Union Pacific C40-8's. Now up to 8 locomotives total and their switching almost done they recieve radio transmissions from "the drawbridge" (KCMO) a northbound UP will be passing them via main one in about 15 minutes.
UP 9025 heading south towards Kansas City July 9th 2007 - note the different number glass on the cab! Well worth the hour wait!
The crossbuck on the north side of the West Ave. crossing in Elmhurst, IL, at UP Geneva Sub MP 16.66. Train MCLPR 30 approaches from the west.

Union Pacific Train JNPAS-28 passes by the historic Kirkwood Station. Notice the interior of the Square. This appears to be a flying shadow person, Look carefully and you can see a head, torse, two llegs and a left arm. The#figure is not as dark as in the original print from which this image was scanned from, but its still visible. I will call this figure "Uncle Pete". The shadow was not in the next photo of the 9025, which wŸs shot in the exact same position. (Print since lost or sold)
