Amazing to relate, BNSF 1544 is an ex-Northern Pacific unit! Good thing I came back with my camera after passing this train on my bike a few hours earlier. What a prize! They have in tow a string of COFC baretables, stretching back almost to the western end of the siding in Long Lake.
