An unknown photographer took this unusual collision between Southern Rwy trains. The engine in front is SOU GP30 #2557 while the loco shoved up in the air is SOU 5122. Although no info was given on the back of the photo, it appears that it may have been a head-on collisiont betweent the freight train and the two engines coming from the opposition direction. Does anyone know more about this accident?
