This former Hutchinson & Northern Alco S-1 switcher appears now on the roster for the Abilene and Smoky Valley Railroad but still wears the orange HN colors and number. Alco/GE built this switcher in June of 1945 (serial #73353 nee-SOTR 1) acquired by the HN in December of 1969 as HN #4. 660 hp loco. Sometime in 1998, it must have been sold to the Abilene & Smoky Valley RR. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
