Description:  Built by Baldwin in September of 1922 as MILW 8322, it was later renumbered MILW 422 in 1938 as seen here after being renumbered. The loco lasted until being scrapped in September of 1952 after 30 years of service. Specs - class L-2b, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,770 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.

Number 1053 was built by Baldwin in August 1901 (c/n 19473) as CM&StP 4-6-0 Vulclain compound (15&25X28 cylinders, 62 inch drivers) class B-4 number 378. Renumbered in August 1907 to CM&StP 1728, renumbered in September 1912 to 4328, rebuilt to simple in July 1915 (22X28 cylinders, 63 inch driver), reclassed to G-7-bs and renumbered to 2878, renumbered in November 1920 to 2870, renumbered in June 1938 to CMStP&P 1053, scrapped in December 1952.
