After a solid service record of nearly 24 years, the loco was retired in July of 1952 and presumedly scrapped. Specs - 73" drivers, impressive 225 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine wt of 361,400 lb and tractive force of 57,300 lb with a booser adding an additional 10,450 lb of tractive force.
