SWP 2002 awaits a call to service at Scottdale Depot
SWP 2003 sits in worn IC Paducah Black, waiting for a fresh coat of SWP corporate colors
Still in full Espee Colors, 2627 is FAR from Roseville, California in the foothills of the Alleghenies
SP/SWP 2627 doesn't have any ownership reporting marks on her, so I'm assuming she's SWP, she could, very well be LTEX or another Loco dealer

SWP 2002 will be used on the "Railroad Safety Campaign" passenger train in the movie "Unstoppable."

During its time in Maine, I'm sure this caboose has seen many snowy days like this one. Here it now rests by the SWP station in Scottdale, PA and rarely sees any action.
SWP GP11's 2001 and 2003 rest in Scottdale.
The SWP 2003 and 2001 rest in Scottdale.
The engines have just crossed the Jacobs Creek bridge separating Fayette and Wesmoreland County. After getting another section of railcars added on by SWP 2002, this train is off to Youngwood, Greensburg, etc. to deliver its loads.
This GP11 is going backwards over Jacobs Creek between Everson and Scottdale, after completing its task of adding a train onto SWP 2003 and 2001, it is going back to the station in Scottdale. #2002 is a former UP 708 GP7 built in 1953. Also SWP 2002 was used in the famous "Unstoppable" movie for the locomotive on the excursion train that barely avoided hitting the runaway train.
The AVR GP11 2005 at rest on the SWP in Scottdale. This unit has just been rebuilt and repainted. It was previously in Illinois Central Operation Lifesaver paint.

The train takes a short mid-day break at the Scottdale station before going off on a freight run to Youngwood and Greensburg.
These two engines get a rest today since three other GP11's were already out doing the day's work. I was told one of these is broken down but I am not sure which one it is.
This sits at the SWP station in Scottdale and rarely gets moved. Since it has not ever been given a new nImber, I am still listing it as MEC 652.
SWP 8749 (formerly NREX) and leased units from the Wheeling & Lake Erie rest at Scottdale under dark storm clouds. Units 111 and 105 are GP35-3 rebuilds.
This high-hood GP35-3 takes a rest on the SWP shortline in Scottdale after working a coal train earlier in the day. This was acquired by the Wheeling and Lake Erie in 1990 and rebuilt to a GP35-3 in August 2001. Built as Southern 2655 in January 1965. At the time this photo was taken, this engine was being leased to the SWP Railroad.
An assortment of color is seen as SWP and Wheeling & Lake Erie units rest together at Scottdale on a cloudy June day. The W&LE GP35-3 units have been leased to the SWP.
