DTI 4-4-2 #601 - Detroit, Toledo & Ironton

Description:

Nice photo of Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Atlantic type locomotive sitting idle in the afternoon sun but loaded with coal and ready to haul freight. Originally built by Alco-Schenectady in March of 1903 for the Pennsylvania RR (bldr #26792), it eventually made its way to the DTI roster. Paul W. Prescott photo credit
