The power has cut away and will run around the train to couple onto the W&LE business car for the eastbound move to Orrville.
The crew makes their move, note this is ex-ACY trackage..........
As the conductor rides the step as the power moves back onto the westbound connection to couple onto it's train.
With the air test complete and track warrants to Orrville the loop train crosses the diamond with the horses in "run" 8.
Wheeling & Lakd Erie's 2709 looks idly by as the Medina Loop Train prepares to turn, and head SE back to Orrville. This shot was taken at the diamond in Spencer. The Excursion will take the conmection to the right, and the power will run around the train before starting the final leg of its journey.

After a long wait, 2709 gets green light and passes an old mill.
222 takes the newly purchased SD40-2's to Brewster where the will be fitted for work on the Wheeling.
Wheeling's "new" engines bound for Brewster. Heritage on these guys is: ex-LTEX, ex-CN, ex-WC, nee- Algoma Central. At least one of them was also previously leased to W&LE in years past, and then returned.
