Description:  Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach that was taken at the Roundhouse in Mingo Junction, Ohio, on 21 August 1949. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #973, a B-8A (0-6-0T) tank switcher built in Juniata as a B-8 (0-6-0) during March of 1907, rebuilt as a B-8A (0-6-0T) in March of 1926, and retired in October of 1951 after 44 years of faithful service. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of (R to L) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8943 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. #8943 is a LS-25M built by Lima-Hamilton in May of 1951, rated at 2,500 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.

Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6137, #4365, and three other units whose road numbers are not recorded. #6137 is an EF-36 built by GM-EMD in November of 1966 and rated at 3,600 horsepower. #4365 is an EFP-15 built as number "9865" in August of 1952, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and renumbered "4365" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger.
