Description:  Along the print has deteriorated, it still shows the 1928 Lima built 2-8-2 Mikado in active service on this day in 1934. Specs - class R-1, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine weight of 303,500 lb, tractive effort of 54,724 lb. The loco was scrapped in 1955. Clarence Hess photo.

( now the junk Yard on Arlington) This view shows the lnop track still in, and the third coal chute, and sand pipe from the coaling tower that served the loop track. Also note the pump sheds that pumped water from thg dam on the creak to the water treatment plant.

Description:  This hopper was down graded to Ash Service by this time, shown here in the Akron Engine service facilty. These hoppers were a Unique bread of"hopper. The B&O used these in the end days because it made spreading the ash on the side of the tracks easier.
