BN Alco RS11 #4182 - Burlington Northern |
| Description: |
Quite an ominous sky above Burlington Northern Alco RS11 #4182 as it heads down the street with its freight in tow. Originally built by Alco in July of 1958 as Northern Pacific RS11 #902. Upon the merger, it was renumbered BN #4182. The loco was eventually sold to Chrome Cranksharft around 1980-81 and scrapped. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo now in my collection. Approximates were used for posting. The BN had several street running locations like Tacoma or Spokane and even Seattle, hence the Washington choice. |
