Album Info:My first visit. I rode the 10:00 a.m. train, then chased the 1:00 p.m. train. Newly restored 0-6-0 Alco Steam locomotive #9 is the star of the show. It was originally built in 1942 for the US Army and served at Fort Dix, NJ. I last saw Steam Locomotive #9 in 1973, in New Hope, PA.

Description:  The locomotive turns on the short wye at Mannington. The wye also serves as the passing siding for the train at it's south end of travel. The train stays on the east leg of the Mannington Wye while the locomotive traverses the southwest and northwest legs of the wye.
