With four units up front, and three in the middle, Chessie 7617 pulls a heavy ore train west out of Falls Cut tunnel, and up Sand Patch grade.

West bound trailer jet with Chessie 4317 leading picks up his orders on the fly from the switch tender at Smithton. The building in the back ground is Jones Brewery. It is owned by the Jones family, the parents of actress Shirly Jones. Also, Smithton is famous for be the 1st theater in the country to show the porn movie Deap Throat, with Linda Lovelace.
