A pair of out-of-town visitors lead a unit train of 90 2-bay covered hoppers along Broad St. past the former C&NW depot while headed north at Oshkosh, WI on 22 Jan. '17. Train had two locomotives, BNSF 5159 and BNSF 9147. The depot's roof is partially visible above the train, the matching freight house is partially visible beyond the lead locomotive. Built by the Chicago firm of Clark & Fuller in 1884 on Broad St. between Washington Ave. and Merritt Ave. at a cost $15,000, it opened on 1 Dec. ’84. The last passenger train, the Peninsula “400,” departed on 31 Jun. ’71. Currently used by Clarity Care.
