This train was headed to old BN Yard. The man on the front of the engine is wearing radio control equipment. The SD40-2 has marking indicating that is Radio Control Equipped and the GP38 obviously is radio controlled as well.
A trio of former BN EMDs, BNSF GP38AC #2114 started life as a Frisco unit. BNSF #7821 started life as C&S #7821, and BNSF #6821 started life on the BN. This is a Black and White shot of them
Three Geeps head west down the main past the yard in Willmar so they can back into the yard and tie onto their train.
A once boring sight is now cherished. The fact that the 6813 is it the hostling consist (running, I might add) is definately a good thing.
