Leading this mornings CPKC 113
CPKC 248
The light was getting low, and I knew I had a shot here at Y City Rd, if the train kept moving, It did, and I got this last shot with some snow in the distance.
The 181s power crosses Davidson Rd, still some snow in evidence across the tracks in the field.
The 181 has made it up the hill from Watts with a sizeable train of 65 stack platforms and 22 auto racks, probably the only reason I beat him through Siloam Springs-that and I made most of the lights. The snow is making its last stand. Tomorrow will get into the 50s, and there wont much left
Saturday was much brighter, though the trains were still hiding on us. We caught the 181 on the Illinois River as it made its way north. Despite the cold, the snow is gradually disappearing.
