I got all the way into Ottumwa before having to stop again (which was my overlay point anyway). CP was already popping when I got into town. A 253 was poised to go north while a 260 was poised to go south. However, both were stopped for quick crew changes. So, I decided to quick check out the BNSF again, knowing I had both east and westbound traffic out there. A shot I had scouted out on the BNSF was a shot of the Des Moines river bridge, which features a large steel trestle. Right when I got to the location, there went my westbound. Well, so much for that. I raced it down to a clearing along Rock Bluff Road southeast of Chillicothe and nabbed it there. A westbound feed grain train that I never got the symbol for. Sun here wouldve made this shot pretty sweet.

Posted up in Mitchell, Illinois are BNSF 8266 (leading an empty grain train) & BNSF 6822 (leading an empty il can), each waiting for an out bound crew on a muggy over cast night.
