A westbound crosses Eagle Ave on a new(er) bridge that was installed a few years ago to increase clearances here. The old stone abutments are obviously still in place. Two of the dozens of wind turbines that now populate the hillsides between Denison and Carroll are also visible in the distance.
Train 134 from Asheville is leaving the S line and meets train 155 to Columbia in a running meet on the mainline.
