BNSF 3439 & BNSF 1934 run light, southbound crossing Holgate, in the late afternoon
GN 3439 in the middle"of an odd power-group shifting about the yard during a driving flash-rain storm (yes, Im hampered by having only half a lens due to rain debris on the right half - coupled with being on the way to church - yet having his interesting group tromping back and forth). The last time this one was caught it was under the inspection pit shed and had a large BNSF log splashed across her long front hood with BNSF 3439 on the side... this time I managed to avoid RP at least (I wouldnt come out in this heavy rain, either, fir a moron with a camera standing on a side road guardrail).
BNSF 3439 proving that Rail Police have a little sense of humor - I said putting this little unit so close, yet so far out of reach of a clean picture was actually entrapment. My apologies that I didnt see the blue stakes marking BNSF property (that had been removed during road construction, because they werent there when I found this location and unit and RP found me), but I appreciate the verbal warning instead of a citation... but it really was entrapment putting this little throw-back just barely visible from the over-pass and mostly out of view. I can only hope this SW will see action to provide a better (and legal) image.
BNSF 3439 finally found peeking outside of the inspection shed - unfortunately still buried deeper in the service area than prying eyes can easily find.
