An SD50 and much newer GE Evolution sit side by side awaiting work on a Sunday morning. Both units have, interestingly, downrated from their original horsepower rating. 3500 to 3000 for the SD50 and 4400 to 4000 for the EVO. It looks like the SD50 could use a bath........
Two different generations of diese-electric locomotives sit next to a vestige of their long gone predecessors.
