A Christmas College-Break Train  Contributor's Pick!       
December 28, 1964 saw combined UP trains City of Denver and City of Portland numbered as Train 112 on the Milwaukee Road at a snowy Genoa, Ill. 59 miles short of its destination of Chicago. The Portland and Denver sections were combined in Omaha where it left UP tracks for the Milwaukee Road.
