GN BN 1818
Someone said that it was cold that day--- and i guess that just "maybe" that was true!!! i never really noticed because in those days i was a very warm blooded young buck and also part polar bear!!! You can see the Interstate highway I35 bridges being built here at Rices Point in Duluth, Minnesota on the probably frozen shore of Lake Superior!!! i doubt that there was much taconite, coal or grain being shipped on the Great Lakes at that time of year!!! You can see a NP Alco S2/4 again with an old steam engine bell!!! Rices point was the Northern Pacific yard in Duluth and 28th street was the Great Northern yard in Superior, Wisconsin
